The company provides consulting, design, project management, construction administration, and integration services across structured cabling, IT, security, access control, and audio visual systems.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Project Manager to remotely manage structured cabling, fiber, and telecommunications construction projects from planning through completion and closeout.
The successful candidate will coordinate clients, labor, materials, subcontractors, schedules, technical documentation, and project financials while ensuring projects progress according to requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Remotely manage low voltage and telecommunications construction projects.
- Communicate with clients and provide regular project follow-ups.
- Coordinate labor, materials, subcontractors, and project schedules.
- Review project plans and specifications.
- Coordinate RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Monitor project financials and related project requirements.
- Coordinate testing and project closeout activities.
- Maintain accurate project documentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
- Support projects from initial planning through completion and closeout.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
- 5+ years of experience in low voltage and/or telecommunicationsconstruction.
- Previous project management experience.
- Knowledge of structured cabling and telecommunications construction.
- Experience with Cat6 and Cat6A systems.
- Understanding of fiber infrastructure.
- Knowledge of OSP and ISP environments.
- Understanding of IDF and MDF infrastructure.
- Familiarity with telecommunications standards.
- Experience reviewing construction plans and specifications.
- Experience coordinating RFIs, submittals, change orders, testing, and closeout.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE
- BICSI knowledge is a plus.
- RCDD knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with structured cabling and fiber projects is highly relevant.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate has strong low voltage or telecommunications construction experience combined with project management capabilities. They should be comfortable coordinating multiple stakeholders remotely and managing the technical, operational, scheduling, and financial aspects of construction projects.
