OVERVIEW
The Business Coach position is a valuable resource to the Small Business Lending Division. Through a one-on-one customized approach, the position utilizes years of business experience to provide coaching and technical assistance to RCLF’s business clients. The goal of the position is to be an asset to clients, assisting them with the development and expansion of their businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Work with RCLF business clients who acquired funds from Specialty Programs to ensure a successful process
- Provide guidance and recommendations for success, including creating personal action plans to accelerate the progress of the business
- Ensure all items related to funded business clients that are required for compliance are received and tracked for proper reporting
- Coach RCLF clients through challenges associated with any of the following areas: Strategic Planning, Cash Flow Projections, Business Plan Modifications, Scalability, Sales Management, Financial Management, Exit Strategy and more
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients while providing rigorous data analysis and reporting solutions based on clients’ needs, highlighting key trends and creating a plan to address those trends
- Foster collaborative and productive working relationships with peer agencies resource partners
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business-related field required
- Proficient in small business financial documentation and accounting for small businesses
- Successful small business owner or business coach. 10 years of experience in small business development
Travel Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
- Reliable access to a vehicle for travel, including meetings, networking events, and client visits.
- Frequent travel required, likely (but not exclusively) covering North Mississippi and North Alabama. Must be able to travel to attend training, meetings, closings, etc.
