Position Summary
The Resource Augmentation Trainee will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle by sourcing, screening, coordinating, and tracking candidates for client requirements. The role offers an excellent opportunity to build expertise in technical recruitment, client coordination, vendor management, and workforce planning.
Key ResponsibilitiesRequirement Analysis
- Understand client job requirements, technical skills, experience, budget, notice period, and location.
- Analyze job descriptions and identify suitable sourcing strategies.
- Coordinate with the Resource Augmentation Manager regarding demand priorities.
Candidate Sourcing
- Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, social media, referrals, internal databases, colleges, and professional networks.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future requirements.
- Generate quality profiles within defined turnaround times.
Candidate Screening
- Conduct initial HR screening to evaluate:
- Technical skills
- Experience
- Communication skills
- Salary expectations
- Notice period
- Relocation and work preferences
- Verify candidate information before profile submission.
Recruitment Coordination
- Schedule interviews with candidates and clients.
- Coordinate interview logistics and communicate interview schedules.
- Collect interview feedback from candidates and clients.
- Follow up until interview completion.
Candidate Engagement
- Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Coordinate offer discussions, documentation, onboarding, and joining formalities.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience.
Recruitment Reporting
- Maintain recruitment trackers and candidate databases.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly recruitment reports.
- Update sourcing activities, interview status, closures, and pipeline reports.
Vendor & Client Support
- Coordinate with recruitment vendors and sourcing partners when required.
- Support client communication for profile submissions and status updates.
- Ensure compliance with client submission guidelines and timelines.
Required Skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
- Basic understanding of recruitment and staffing processes.
- Ability to understand technical job descriptions.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and major job portals (Naukri, Foundit, etc.) is an advantage.
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
- Good organizational and time-management abilities.
- Willingness to work in a target-driven environment.
Educational Qualification
- MBA (HR), PGDM (HR)
- BBA
- BE/B.Tech
- Any Bachelor's or Master's degree with an interest in Talent Acquisition or Human Resources
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of IT, Engineering, Semiconductor, Embedded Systems, Manufacturing, or Automotive hiring.
- Basic understanding of recruitment metrics and applicant tracking systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
