Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Part 2 Architect to join their team on a full-time basis.
As the successful applicant, you will be working seamlessly with a close-knit team of architects and designers to develop and deliver projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in architectural design, client liaison, and a solid background in using Revit. This role offers an opportunity to develop to Project Architect, be involved in large scale projects while mentoring junior architect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to develop innovative design solutions.
- Manage the design process, from initial sketches to technical documentation, using Revit.
- Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to junior architects and designers.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Conduct site visits and coordinate with contractors during the construction phase.
- Maintain and enhance relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Coordinate with other professionals, including engineers, quantity surveyors, and consultants.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be part 2 qualified minimum.
- Proficiency in Revit
- Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and planning processes.
- Experience in managing small- mid scale projects.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex design concepts to a variety of audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with sustainable design practices and a passion for innovation in architecture.
- Experience in managing BIM (Building Information Modeling) workflows.
- Knowledge of other design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
