RI Strength is a private strength and conditioning gym specializing in personalized coaching, small-group individual design, personal training, and nutrition coaching.
Our mission is to help adults build strength, improve their health, and move better in a private, supportive training environment without the crowds and intimidation of traditional gyms.
We're looking for a creative, organized, and motivated Social Media Coordinator to help grow our online presence, create engaging content, and communicate our brand to potential clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Video Production & Content Filming
- Film short-form social media videos for Instagram and Facebook.
- Coordinate and film promotional and advertising videos featuring coaches, clients, workouts, and the gym environment.
- Capture authentic client experiences, testimonials, training sessions, and behind-the-scenes content.
- Identify opportunities to create engaging video content that attracts potential clients.
2. Social Media Content Creation
- Develop and create engaging content for Instagram and Facebook.
- Edit short-form videos for social media advertising and organic posts.
- Create graphics, captions, stories, reels, and other promotional content.
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule and brand presentation.
- Repurpose existing content into multiple posts and marketing assets.
3. Brand Clarity & Marketing Support
- Help clarify and consistently communicate the RI Strength brand, messaging, and identity.
- Understand what differentiates RI Strength from traditional gyms and other personal training facilities.
- Help develop clear, compelling messaging around our services, coaching approach, and client experience.
- Identify content opportunities that communicate our value to our target audience.
- Bring fresh ideas to improve our social media presence and marketing effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Experience creating content for Instagram and Facebook.
- Comfortable filming and editing short-form video content.
- Understanding of social media trends, reels, and digital advertising.
- Strong creative instincts and attention to detail.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Experience with Canva, CapCut, or similar editing and design tools is preferred.
Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone who understands that effective social media marketing is about more than posting pictures and videos. It's about communicating a brand's identity, connecting with the right audience, and turning attention into interest.
The ideal candidate is creative, proactive, comfortable working in a gym environment, and capable of translating our coaching philosophy into compelling content.
Experience in fitness, health, wellness, or local business marketing is a plus.
Compensation & Schedule
- Part-time position, up to 20 hours per month.
- Flexible scheduling with coordination for in-person filming.
- Specific projects and monthly content priorities will be established together.
