RLB is Oceania’s largest and most experienced independent construction consultancy, specialising in management, cost consultancy, advisory services and programming. We work closely with local government, developers, project managers, architects and financiers on some of the most interesting projects in Australia. The Brisbane team is expanding and seeking experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors/Cost Engineers to join our growing Infrastructure team. The opportunity Joining our Infrastructure team, you will play a key role in delivering high\-quality cost management and advisory services across a range of infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for providing commercial delivery.

### **Your responsibilities will include**

* Preparing project feasibility studies, cost plans, estimates, and business case assessments * Providing value engineering solutions to optimise project outcomes and maximise value * Undertaking risk identification, analysis, and management strategies * Advising on construction methodologies, project delivery strategies, and cost efficiencies * Supporting contract negotiations and procurement activities * Developing and implementing national and international procurement strategies * Managing cost planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting * Undertaking tender analysis, bid evaluations, and contract reviews * Monitoring construction progress, project costs, variations, and commercial performance * Building strong relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders * Providing expert commercial advice to support successful project delivery

### **As our** **i****deal candidate, you will possess**

* Professional qualifications in engineering, quantity surveying, construction economics, or property\-related fields * 5\+ years of demonstrated experience in estimating for Infrastructure construction projects * The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a project team * Excellent communication skills and an ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships * Full rights to work in Australia * RICS or AIQS Membership * RPEQ (desirable)
