About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with proven expertise in
US accounting standards (GAAP) and hands-on experience with a range of accounting
software, including QuickBooks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial
reporting, month-end close, compliance, and managing complex transactions across multiple
entities and currencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Compliance:
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets, and bank
reconciliations.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes; ensure accurate and timely
reporting.

Ensure compliance with US GAAP, IRS regulations, and local state tax laws.

Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting
schedules.
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, management reports, and ad hoc financial
analyses.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Support internal and external audits; ensure documentation is accurate and complete.
Software & Systems Management:
- Maintain accounting records using QuickBooks (Online & Desktop).

Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets (advanced level)

Bill.com for accounts payable automation

Gusto / ADP / Paychex for payroll processing

Team Collaboration & Process Improvement:

Mentor junior accounting staff and review their work for accuracy.

Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Operations, HR) for financial
integration.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements; implement best
practices in financial controls and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CA or equivalent
preferred).
- 7+ years of accounting experience with 2+ years US-based or US GAAP-compliant
accounting.

Deep familiarity with QuickBooks and other modern accounting platforms.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience:

Multi-entity and multi-currency accounting.
