Marketing Associate
Part-time, 20-40 hours/week
Schedule: Flexible schedule, the company’s core hours are 9:00 – 1:00 Pacific / 12:00 – 4:00 Eastern. For the right candidate, we can be flexible on core hours.
Salary: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience

About the Role
We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented Marketing Associate to support our marketing and social media efforts. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong pulse on social trends, enjoys creating and organizing content, and is comfortable digging into performance data to see what's working. You'll help bring campaigns to life and keep content consistent and on schedule.
Our dream candidate has 4 years of experience working in the B2C space with a physical product, creating content that performs well across all social channels. They are skilled in content creation and well-executed video editing that resonates with our fandom community. While AI can support certain tasks, we value the time, energy, and skill creatives invest in graphics, video production, photography, and design. Therefore, we seek a candidate who does not rely on AI for the creative process.
This position can start part-time with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role for the right candidate.
Responsibilities (in order of importance)
Social Media
- Draft engaging copy for social media posts across platforms
- Schedule and manage content across social channels
- Research and identify trending audio, formats, and content ideas to bring to the marketing team
- Assist with editing short-form video for use on website and social media
- Track social media performance and compile regular reporting
- Monitor and respond to comments and DMs in a timely, on-brand manner
Email Marketing
- Build and schedule email campaigns in Klaviyo
- Pull campaign performance metrics and compile reports to inform future strategy
Influencer & Creator Outreach
- Identify and reach out to influencers and content creators for potential collaborations
- Manage gifting and product seeding logistics
- Track outreach, responses, and relationship status
- Coordinate content deliverables and posting timelines with partnered creators
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in social media, content creation, or a related marketing role
- Familiarity with Klaviyo or similar email marketing platforms
- Basic video editing skills (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar)
- Strong writing skills with an eye for brand voice and tone
- Comfortable interpreting performance metrics and translating it into actionable insights
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Self-starter who stays current on social media trends and platform changes
Nice to Have
- Experience with design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Experience in Jewelry, Fashion, E-commerce or similar industry
- Photography or product-styling experience
