Rostudios is a fast-growing international fitness and lifestyle brand, and we are looking for a motivated Financial Accountant & Controller to join our Finance Team during an exciting period of expansion. With new studios opening across multiple countries and continued international growth ahead, this is a unique opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to step into a broad and impactful role early in their career.
As a Financial Accountant & Controller, you will be responsible for the full accounting cycle of two countries (Netherlands and Belgium), supporting our month-end and year-end procedures, and preparing essential financial reports. You will also take ownership of the payroll cycle one country, ensuring accurate and timely processing. This role offers hands-on responsibility, exposure to international operations, and the chance to grow your technical and analytical skills within a dynamic, data-driven finance environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounting process for two countries, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and monthly closings
- Support year-end audit activities and provide accurate documentation to external auditors
- Oversee and execute the payroll cycle for one country, ensuring compliance and timely delivery
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to connect financial outcomes to operational performance
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, automation, and financial workflows
- Contribute to the overall enhancement of the finance function as Rostudios continues to scale internationally
Your qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in accounting, financial control, or a similar finance role
- Solid understanding of general accounting principles and month-end processes
- Experience with payroll administration
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel
- Experience with Exact or similar finance/accounting systems is a plus
- Proactive, structured, and able to work independently in a fast-paced scale-up environment
- Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)
- Living in the Netherlands
