Duties
- Engage with clients via phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings to understand their roofing needs and provide tailored solutions
- Generate leads through prospecting efforts such as cold calling, territory management, and online outreach
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase roofing options and benefits to potential customers
- Manage customer accounts by building strong relationships, providing ongoing support, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Negotiate deals effectively to close sales while maintaining profitability and customer trust
- Utilize CRM software and sales management systems to track leads, manage follow-ups, and analyze sales data
- Collaborate with team members on marketing initiatives and business development strategies to expand market reach
Experience
- Proven management or leadership experience in a sales environment, preferably within B2B (business-to-business) or retail sectors
- Demonstrated success in outside sales, inside sales, or territory management with a focus on achieving sales targets
- Strong background in B2B sales, technical sales experience, or product demos within the construction or roofing industry is highly desirable
- Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce or similar platforms for lead generation and customer relationship management (CRM) support
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with the ability to build lasting customer relationships through effective communication and service excellence
- Familiarity with remote (virtual) sales environments and digital communication tools is preferred
- Skilled in prospecting, upselling, deal closing, and analyzing sales data to optimize performance
