We are looking for a **Project detail\-oriented architectural draftsman** to join our architectural design team. You will be creating technical drawings for homes, commercial buildings, Institutional Building and other structures from architects' sketches, incorporating exact measurements and codes, NBC, Local Municipal Authority, and entering data to generate 3\-D design models.
To be successful as an architectural draftsman you should possess solid knowledge of computer\-aided design (CAD) software, and the ability to apply the fundamentals of sketching and design. A top\-notch architectural draftsman will be someone whose drafting expertise contributes to structurally sound and aesthetically pleasing architectural designs.
**Architectural Draftsman Responsibilities:**
* Creating technical drawings from architects' sketches and specifications. * Using CAD software to create drawings that incorporate exact measurements, calculations, building codes, and other construction details. * Preparing **General Arrangement Drawing, Working drawings, Landscaping, Plumbing Drawing, Area Calculation charts, and records with CAD equipment and conventional drafting Under NBC/Municipal/ Corporation Rules .** * Visiting construction sites to perform measurements and calculate dimensions as needed. (if Required) * Collaborating with architects and construction engineers to ensure adherence to building specifications and industry regulations. * Keeping abreast of the latest developments and technologies in architectural design. * **Preparing Working Drawing ,** * **Furniture Layout,** * **Electrical Layout.** * **Presentation Drawing,** * **Sanitary Drawing (Internal and External)** * **Preparation of master plan (Working Drawing)** * **Details Drawings (Door , Window, Grill, Partition wall , Structural Glazing, Flooring \& Rcp.** * **Interior Details Drawing with Technical Specification.**
**Architectural Draftsman Requirements:**
* An associate’s degree or certification program in architectural drafting, or similar. * Prior experience as an architectural draftsman will be advantageous. * Advanced proficiency in computer\-aided design (CAD) software. * In\-depth knowledge of building design, Material specifications, NBC/Municipal/ Corporation Rules . * Ability to apply the fundamentals of sketching and design. * Strong organizational and time management abilities. * Great analytical, problem\-solving, and communication skills.
