Job Purpose

This role delivers hands-on labour efficiency consultancy to S4labour’s hospitality customers as part of the Customer Success team. Working under the direction of the Head of Customer Success, the role supports the Customer Success team with their accounts, carries out Goldilocks site visits, analyses sales and labour data, contributes to customer reports and recommendations, and supports re-implementations and training. The role also helps build bespoke demonstration environments that show prospective customers how the S4labour platform addresses their pain points, supporting the sales team after initial discovery.

The role is expected to deliver: thorough, well-evidenced site observations and analysis; high-quality contributions to customer reports, training and re-implementations; demonstration environments configured accurately and on time to brief; and continuously developing consulting and platform expertise.

Responsibilities

→ Conduct Goldilocks site visits, observing service periods, gathering evidence and identifying labour deployment and productivity opportunities.

→ Analyse sales and labour data, building sales profiles, deployment models and benchmarks that underpin the team’s findings and recommendations.

→ Contribute to customer reports, drafting sections, preparing supporting analysis and helping present findings to customers where appropriate.

→ Support re-implementations and training, helping customers reset their S4labour configuration and coaching site teams in best practice.

→ Build demonstration environments, configuring bespoke demo data and scenarios to brief, tailored to each prospect’s pain points, in support of the sales team.

→ Deliver bespoke customer demonstrations, using the S4labour platform to support the sales team in direct customer demos .

→ Maintain delivery standards, following the team’s templates and methods and suggesting improvements based on project experience.

→ Capture customer insight, recording pain points, product gaps and opportunities from engagements and feeding them back to the team.

→ Develop platform expertise, maintaining an expert working knowledge of the S4labour platform, including new functionality as it is released.

→ Support customer relationships, acting as a professional, responsive point of contact for customers throughout engagements.

→ Support the Customer Success team with their accounts, providing consultancy, analysis and platform expertise that helps account managers retain, develop and grow their customers.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential (Must have requirements)

→ Hospitality operations experience, with practical exposure to rotas, forecasting and labour cost in pubs, restaurants or similar environments.

→ Strong analytical skills, confident working with sales, labour and productivity data, including in Excel.

→ Working knowledge of the S4labour platform, or the aptitude to become an expert user quickly.

→ Strong written and verbal communication, comfortable working on customer sites with managers and site teams.

→ Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites, including some evening and weekend service observations.

Desirable (Nice-to-have requirements)

→ Supervisory or management experience in hospitality.

→ Experience contributing to consultancy projects or other customer-facing delivery.

→ Experience supporting product demonstrations or sales activity.

Success Measures

→ Delivery quality – site observations, analysis and report contributions delivered accurately, on time and to the team’s standards.

→ Customer outcomes – contribution to labour efficiency improvements achieved and to customer satisfaction with engagements.

→ Demo readiness – demonstration environments built accurately and on time to brief.

→ Capability growth – development of platform expertise and consulting skills over time.

Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
