Salary: $105,747 to $111,854 – ASO6 – Full Time / Term Contract up to 12 Months

Overview:

The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for coordinating and undertaking technical programs and services that develop and deliver analysis and reporting for complex health related projects and ensures accurate, fit for purpose information informs improvement in Department of health and wellbeing planning, service design and accountability within LHNs.

The role engages with a range of project stakeholders to identify and review project requirements, coordinates and undertakes the extraction and compilation of complex data and produces a range of high-quality data reports (such as data profiling, data integration points assessments, data rules validation, source data discovery, ad hoc analysis etc.), briefings and data products.

The Senior Data Analyst provides expert contribution to the design, implementation and testing of extraction, manipulation, reporting and analysis processes and standards and provides expert contribution to the identification and resolution of issues and risks.

The Senior Data Analyst will be assigned to and support delivery of the Department for Health and Wellbeing Strengthening Aboriginal Health Data Governance and Transparency project.

A ‘National Police Certificate’ NPC (also known as a ‘Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check’ NCCHC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
