ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a collaborative, curious, and detail-oriented Junior Full Stack Engineer to join our production team in-office. In this role, you will help build, maintain, and enhance client websites, landing pages, and interactive web applications. You will work closely with our designers, project managers, and senior developers to translate mockups into performant, clean, and reliable code.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, including custom themes, child themes, and ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) implementations.
• Develop modern front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript (ES6+) and component frameworks (e.g., React or Vue).
• Integrate third-party APIs, marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Klaviyo), analytics scripts, and third party webhooks.
• Implement responsive designs strictly adhering to Figma or Adobe XD design files across mobile, tablet, and desktop breakpoints.
• Assist in diagnosing and resolving cross-browser bugs, performance bottlenecks, and CMS-related technical issues.
• Follow established version control workflows (Git) and deployment processes.
• Collaborate daily in-person with project managers, SEO specialists, and creative teams to meet project and launch deadlines.
• Handle daily support requests by understanding, replicating, and addressing issues in the application.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 0–2 years of hands-on web development experience (agency internship, junior role, or strong demonstrable project portfolio).
• Strong foundational understanding of HTML5, modern CSS3/SCSS, and vanilla JavaScript (ES6+)
• Understanding of the WordPress template hierarchy, PHP basics, theme customization, and working with custom post types and fields.
• Exposure to at least one modern framework or library (React, Next.js, Vue, or similar).
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub, local development environments (LocalWP, Docker, or XAMPP), and build tools (Vite, Webpack, or npm scripts).
• Strong problem-solving skills, willingness to take constructive code reviews, and ability to balance code quality with agency project turnaround times.
• Ability to use AI development tools for efficiency in code creation
• Ability to evaluate AI created code for quality and knowledge verification

PREFERRED

• Basic understanding of SEO best practices, page speed optimization (Core Web Vitals), and accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Experience with WooCommerce or Shopify theme customization.
• CI/CD pipelines
• Hosting, DNS, and server migration

Benefits and Compensation

• Base Salary: $65,000 / year
• Schedule: 4-Day Work Week (Monday – Thursday, 10 hour days)
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days on-site in Willow Grove, PA / 1 day remote (WFH)
