Job Overview
As a Senior Team Member, Packing at Salad Days, you will oversee packing operations, guide team members, and ensure bulk orders meet quality and safety standards. You will act as the point of contact for the packing team, helping maintain efficiency, accuracy, and hygiene in all packing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily packing operations and ensure quality compliance.
- Train and mentor Packing Associates and Team Members.
- Monitor adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Coordinate bulk orders, inventory management, and timely reporting.
- Troubleshoot packing-related issues and optimize workflow.
- Maintain accurate labeling, storage, and documentation of packed items.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in the packing area.
Requirements
- Minimum qualification: 10th pass; culinary or food-handling certification is a plus.
- 18–24 months of experience in food packaging or central kitchen operations.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and packing procedures.
- Leadership and mentoring skills to guide junior team members.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
