The ideal candidate is a motivated, well-organized individual who has a deep understanding of prospecting and developing strong relationships with customers. In his role, the candidate will be responsible for driving sales, profitability and throughput, for providing market perspective and complete intelligence. We are particularly interested in candidates from the Chinese diaspora community in Europe.
Responsibilities
- Set and monitor sales targets and KPIs for the European region;
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and partners;
- Manage leads and offers for clients including specification, technical and pricing;
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets;
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback;
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Experience
- At least 10 years of experience in sales management in the chemical industry, preferably in the NAFTA market;
- Proven track record of achieving sales goals and growing revenue — with verifiable examples of territory expansion and account growth;
- Experience working with leading chemical customers across polyamide, engineering plastic, adhesive, coating, and specialty chemical sectors;
- Experience working with a wide variety of customers — from large multinational corporations to mid-sized specialists and distributors;
- Proven ability to work effectively in a home office / field-based capacity with strong self-management and self-motivation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or above. Prefer in Monomer/Polymer Science or Chemistry and relative majors;
- Strong market analytical skills, communication and negotiation skills;
- Fluent in English and German, French, Chinese would be a plus;
- Willingness to travel frequently within Europe.
