Position Overview
SALT Dental Partners is seeking an experienced, SEO-focused Website Content Writer for a four-month contract engagement to develop reusable website content libraries across three dental specialties: Pediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics, and Oral Surgery. This role will support SALT’s broader website development and digital integration strategy by creating structured, specialty-specific content banks that can be deployed across standardized, high-performing website templates. The goal is to accelerate website builds and migrations, reduce duplicative content development, strengthen SEO performance, and establish a scalable content foundation for future practice integrations.
The ideal candidate combines strong content strategy and SEO expertise with the ability to translate complex dental and clinical topics into clear, engaging, patient-friendly content that supports search visibility and patient conversion. Key Responsibilities 1. Develop Specialty-Specific Website Content Banks Create three distinct content banks for each of the following specialties: Pediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics, and Oral Surgery, for a total of nine content banks.
- Develop modular, reusable website copy that can be adapted across multiple practice brands and geographic markets without requiring content to be rewritten from scratch.
- Establish consistent content structures, messaging frameworks, and writing standards for each specialty while allowing flexibility for individual practice needs.
- Create content aligned with patient search intent, treatment considerations, common questions, and appointment conversion opportunities.
- Ensure content is original, accurate, accessible, and appropriate for the intended patient audience.
2. Create SEO-Optimized Website Copy Conduct keyword research and incorporate relevant primary and secondary keywords, local search intent, and specialty-specific terminology naturally into website content.
- Develop SEO-informed page titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking recommendations, and other on-page optimization elements as defined by the project scope.
- Structure content to support organic search visibility, local SEO, and a positive user experience.
- Identify opportunities for frequently asked questions and educational content that address common patient concerns and search queries.
- Follow SEO best practices while prioritizing useful, readable content over keyword density or repetitive copy.
3. Build Content for Standardized Website Templates Collaborate with SALT Marketing and website development stakeholders to understand the page structures, components, and content requirements of approved website templates.
- Deliver copy in a modular format that maps directly to defined website pages and template fields.
- Develop reusable content for core website pages, specialty service pages, treatment pages, calls to action, FAQs, and other priority content areas.
- Provide clear content organization, naming conventions, and documentation to enable efficient implementation by internal teams or external development partners.
- Recommend content structures that support consistency, scalability, and future website expansion.
4. Maintain Clinical Accuracy, Brand Consistency, and Quality Translate clinical and treatment information into clear, patient-friendly language without compromising accuracy.
- Incorporate clinical and subject-matter expert feedback as needed, ensuring appropriate review of treatment descriptions and health-related claims.
- Avoid unsupported clinical claims, guarantees, or misleading representations of treatment outcomes.
- Review and revise content to ensure quality, originality, readability, consistency, and alignment with project requirements.
5. Support Website Development and Integration Efficiency Partner with Marketing to prioritize content needs based on website development and migration timelines.
- Organize content libraries so they can be readily used for new website builds, redesigns, migrations, and future practice integrations.
- Document content standards, reusable modules, and recommendations for adapting centralized content to individual practices.
- Deliver all approved content and supporting documentation in organized, accessible formats that can be maintained by SALT Marketing after the contract concludes.
Expected Deliverables By the conclusion of the four-month engagement, the contractor will deliver:* Nine completed content banks: Three per specialty across Pediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics, and Oral Surgery.
- Reusable website page copy: Modular content for agreed-upon core pages, specialty services, treatments, FAQs, and conversion elements.
- SEO-ready content: Relevant keyword targeting, page titles, meta descriptions, heading structures, and internal linking recommendations within the agreed scope.

- Quality-reviewed content: Final content incorporating agreed-upon Marketing feedback and required clinical or subject-matter review.
- Handoff documentation: Organized source files and content libraries that SALT can continue using after the contract ends.
Specific page types, content volumes, and content bank themes will be established with SALT Marketing at project kickoff and documented in an agreed-upon scope of work. Qualifications Demonstrated experience writing website content with a strong understanding of SEO and organic search performance.
- Portfolio of website copy demonstrating the ability to create engaging, conversion-oriented content.
- Experience in healthcare, dental, medical, or another regulated or technically complex industry preferred.
- Strong understanding of keyword research, search intent, on-page SEO, local SEO, metadata, and internal linking.
- Ability to develop reusable content frameworks and scalable content libraries rather than relying exclusively on one-off page writing.
- Ability to translate technical or clinical information into accurate, accessible, patient-friendly language.
- Exceptional writing, editing, research, organization, and project management skills.
- Experience collaborating with marketing, design, web development, and subject-matter experts.
- Ability to manage multiple content workstreams, incorporate feedback efficiently, and meet defined milestones.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted content workflows and the ability to apply editorial judgment, fact-checking, and quality control to AI-supported work.

- Quality, originality, clinical accuracy, and SEO readiness of delivered content.
- Alignment of content with approved website templates and implementation requirements.
- Reusability of content across practice brands with limited customization.
- Timely completion of milestones and incorporation of agreed-upon feedback.
- Delivery of a well-organized content library that enables SALT Marketing to accelerate ongoing website development and future practice integrations.
