We are looking for a Design Engineer with experience in the SPM (Special Purpose Machine) industry. The candidate should have hands\-on experience in fixture design, cavity design based on customer parts, and machine design using **SolidWorks**.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design fixtures based on customer parts and production requirements. * Develop cavity designs according to component specifications. * Create 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using **SolidWorks**. * Study customer drawings and develop suitable machine concepts. * Design assembly fixtures, machining fixtures, and checking fixtures. * Prepare detailed part drawings, assembly drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM). * Coordinate with the Assembly and Production teams during machine manufacturing. * Support machine assembly, testing, and design modifications. * Ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.
**Required Skills**
* Hands\-on experience in **SolidWorks**. * Experience in fixture design and cavity development. * Knowledge of SPM machine design and mechanical assemblies. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. * Knowledge of manufacturing processes, tolerances, and GD\&T. * Strong problem\-solving and communication skills.
**Qualification**
* Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
**Preferred Experience**
* 2–5 years of experience in SPM machine design. * Experience in fixture design, cavity design, and machine assembly support using **SolidWorks**.
