HR Generalist Summary: As an HR Generalist at SAMSON, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our HR operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of various HR processes. From payroll management to benefits administration and employee events coordination, you will be involved in diverse tasks that contribute to fostering a positive work environment and supporting our employees.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Performs HRIS data entry and personnel file maintenance.
- Ensures timeliness and thoroughness of payroll processing.
- Enters bi-weekly payroll data into ERP accounting system.
- Responds to employee inquiries in a timely manner regarding payroll and benefits concerns.
- Monitor PTO usage and provide quarterly reports to managers on team’s available PTO.
- Handles timecard entries, conflicts as necessary.
- Report time for temporary employees weekly.
- Code and enter benefit and 401K invoices into ERP accounting system.
- Assists with employee engagement activities.
- Assists with employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations as requested by HR Manager.
- Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
- Provide necessary documentation from bi-weekly payroll for auditors during financial audits.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and employment law.
- Provides coverage for Talent Acquisition Specialist.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:
- High school Diploma/GED
- General Accounting and ERP Experience
- Two (2) years of experience of human resources
- Two (2) years of payroll and benefits experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
- HRCI/SHRM Certification
- Experience in manufacturing or related industry
