About Saras Analytics
Saras Analytics is an AI and data analytics firm built for ecommerce and omnichannel brands. We help fast-growing SMBs and mid-market brands turn disconnected, messy data into decisions — covering ingestion, transformation, and consumption, backed by our own products (Daton and IQ) as the data infrastructure underneath every engagement. Our consulting team is built around forward deployed analysts, data scientists, and subject matter experts who sit close to the client and turn data into strategic guidance CXOs act on.
Why Now
Saras is profitable and bootstrapped. We run flat: talent and good ideas move fast here regardless of tenure or title. Right now we're scaling our product implementations quickly — more clients, more concurrent engagements, more moving pieces, in a short span of time. A Technical Project Manager joining at this stage is running live delivery inside that scale-up directly, not managing a fixed, fully mature process.
The Role
You'll own end-to-end delivery for at least 5-6 client projects at a time in steady state, leading a team of direct reportees (analysts) plus a cross-functional support team, and reporting to an Account Manager. Your job is to run each project — requirements gathered, scope signed off, work delivered, the client's team trained and using it — landing on the committed date and at the quality bar the client expects, every time. The ladder is explicit: strong Technical Project Managers grow into Engagement Leads.
The Bar
Client satisfaction is the top priority for this role. Delivery excellence is how you earn it — every engagement lands on time and at the quality bar clients expect, the client genuinely well taken care of throughout, and the work actually put to use — but the measure is whether the client ends the engagement a promoter: someone who'd recommend Saras unprompted.
What You'll Own
- Land every engagement on time and at the quality bar clients expect. No quietly cutting corners to hit a deadline.
- Run the full cycle — requirements to sign-off and adoption. Gather business requirements, get explicit sign-off on scope and success criteria, deliver the work, train the client's team to actually use it, and confirm it's being used — as an individual contributor and as the person leading a team through it.
- Build a delivery sprint plan that leaves no room for ambiguity. Every cross-functional team member knows exactly what success looks like for their task — ownership, success criteria, and dates that mean something.
- Keep the client genuinely well taken care of. Clear communication, no surprises, and the hard conversations handled directly and calmly when something's off track.
- Lead your team of analysts and cross-functional partners through the work. Coach the people executing projects with you, catch problems early, and remove blockers before they impact deadlines.
What Winning Looks Like
First 90 days: you've picked up the delivery cadence on your current projects, built working relationships with your team of analysts and cross-functional partners, you know how each client feels about the engagement today, and know exactly where each engagement stands against its committed dates and quality bar.
Steady state: every engagement you own lands on the agreed date, at the agreed quality bar, the client can point to it being used, and your clients would recommend Saras — some already have.
Who Thrives Here
Any of these backgrounds can get you in the room. Across all of them, you've run multiple full cycles of requirements gathering, sign-off, and usage — as an individual contributor and as a team lead.
- You've managed technical delivery or implementation projects — data, analytics, software, or systems — from requirements through go-live, individually and as a team lead, for 5+ years.
- You're comfortable working hands-on with SQL, either Tableau or Power BI, or data pipelines — enough to manage the delivery credibly and speak the team's technical language.
- You've run a team of business analysts or similar direct reports plus cross-functional partners, inside an ecommerce, retail, SaaS, or analytics/consulting environment.
- You've conducted product or platform trainings directly with clients — comfortable being the face of adoption, not just the person who ships the work.
- You hold a PMP, PRINCE2, Certified Scrum Master, or equivalent project-management credential.
It's an even stronger fit if you also bring:
- Hands-on experience building AI agents using tools like Claude Code to improve delivery efficiency.
- You've built production-grade dashboards as React-native web apps, using AI-assisted development.
- Experience leading pre-sales teams at an analytics or consulting firm (2+ years).
