JOB TITLE : Purchase Manager
LOCATION : Panipat

Role \& Responsibilities :
* Handle procurement of raw materials, engineering components, and consumables. * Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new vendors. * Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules. * Ensure timely procurement to avoid production delays. * Forecast material requirements and coordinate with production planning. * Manage transportation and logistics for inbound materials. * Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock availability. * Process purchase orders, vendor invoices, and payment coordination. * Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, cost, and delivery. * Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and documentation.
Required Skills :
* Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. * Knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes. * Experience in forecasting material requirements. * Inventory and warehouse coordination. * Transportation and logistics management. * Cost optimization and purchase planning. * Good communication and coordination skills. * Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications :
* Minimum 3 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement within an Engineering or Manufacturing company (EPC organization) * Good understanding of mechanical components and engineering materials (Steel, Motor, Gear box, Cable, cable tray, Instruments etc). * Ability to work independently and coordinate with Production, Stores, and Finance departments. * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills.
