We are looking for an experienced, licensed insurance professional who genuinely enjoys taking care of clients. This is a service-first role with an established independent agency. No cold calling. No commission-only compensation. No book of business to bring with you.
We are an award-winning boutique independent insurance agency in San Marcos entering an exciting period of growth and operational expansion. We are looking for an experienced, licensed Account Manager/CSR who can step into an existing book of business and make an immediate impact.
This is not a cold-calling or producer position. We need someone who genuinely enjoys client service: answering coverage and billing questions, processing policy changes, managing renewals, working with carriers, solving problems, and making sure things actually get finished.

- Can handle an upset client calmly and professionally
- Knows the difference between being busy and actually getting things accomplished
- Takes ownership of a request from beginning to end

What we're looking for:
- Active California Property & Casualty license (not just personal lines only license)
- Minimum 2–3 years of insurance experience (captive agency, independent agency, carrier side)
- Personal lines experience required, commercial experience a strong plus
- Strong carrier-system/agency management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Resourceful, accurate, efficient, and able to prioritize independently
- Handle high pressure situations, excels at time management, and uses critical thinking skills
- Values a stable work environment, and is looking for a long-term employment opportunity
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 35.0 per week
