Business growth and strategy
- Own the annual order booking target for turnkey STP, ETP, WTP, RO, DM, ZLD and recycle projects, plus AMC/O&M revenue
- Build the sales plan by segment and territory: pharma, chemicals, food & beverage, textiles, engineering, automobile and other manufacturing units across MMR, MIDC areas and Maharashtra
- Identify growth drivers such as MPCB/CPCB compliance, ZLD mandates, water reuse and plant expansions
- Track competitors, pricing and market trends and recommend positioning
Key accounts and large deals
- Personally lead high-value project pursuits from enquiry to purchase order
- Build senior relationships with plant heads, EHS and utility heads, purchase heads, consultants, EPC/PMC firms and OEMs
- Lead negotiations on price, scope, warranties, payment milestones and contract terms
- Review and approve techno-commercial offers, BOQs and tender submissions with the design team
Team leadership
- Recruit, train and lead the Sales Executives; set targets, territories and account allocation
- Run weekly pipeline reviews and joint client visits; coach the team on techno-commercial selling
- Ensure disciplined CRM use, reporting and follow-up across the team
AMC and installed base
- Grow AMC, O&M and chemical supply contracts on Seamak and third-party installed plants
- Drive renewal rates, upgrades, retrofits and spares sales
Commercial control and coordination
- Protect project margins through sound costing, pricing approval and scope control
- Ensure clean handover of won orders to execution with agreed scope, timelines and terms
- Own collections on milestone payments and keep receivables within agreed terms
- Present monthly MIS on order booking, pipeline, margins, collections and forecast to management
