Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Security Systems Engineer specializing in CCTV and Video Surveillance to join our innovative security team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced security systems that safeguard assets and ensure safety across various facilities. Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive CCTV and video surveillance system layouts based on client requirements, interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot security equipment including cameras, sensors, alarms, access control systems, and related low-voltage electrical wiring.
- Conduct field service visits to perform system testing, calibration, maintenance, and repairs on surveillance hardware and network components.
- Integrate physical security systems such as door security systems, fire alarms, and alarm & access control systems into existing infrastructure.
- Provide technical troubleshooting support for complex security system issues involving computer hardware, networking, cabling, and remote access software.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs, offer system design solutions, and deliver exceptional customer service throughout project implementation.
- Read electrical blueprints and schematics to accurately interpret technical drawings necessary for installation and troubleshooting processes.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician or engineer in electrical security system installation or maintenance.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools for equipment installation.
- Familiarity with low-voltage electrical systems including wiring practices for CCTV, sensors, fire alarms, and access control devices.
- Knowledge of computer networking principles relevant to surveillance systems such as IP camera configurations and remote access software.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues related to CCTV cameras, sensors, alarm systems, power supplies, and network connectivity effectively.
- Experience interpreting technical schematics and electrical blueprints to facilitate accurate system setup.
- Prior involvement in system design or sales of alarm & access control systems is a plus.
Additional Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese is strongly preferred. Candidates who can communicate effectively in both English and Chinese will be given preference.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Candidates must be able to provide appropriate documentation verifying their authorization to work in the United States.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
