Position: NPD Engineer
Location: Chakan, Pune
Qualification : Diploma / B.E. Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
- ✔ 3–8 Years
- ✔ Experience in Automotive Sheet Metal Components (Mandatory)
Key Responsibilities:-
✅ Lead New Product Development activities from RFQ to SOP.
✅ Study customer drawings, specifications and technical requirements.
✅ Coordinate with customers, design, tool room, production and quality teams for successful project execution.
✅ Prepare and review:
- APQP Documents
- PPAP Documents
- Process Flow Diagram
- PFMEA
- Control Plan
- Work Instructions
✅ Conduct feasibility studies and manufacturing reviews.
✅ Plan and monitor product trials, tool trials and process validation.
✅ Ensure dimensional approvals and customer submission requirements.
✅ Coordinate sample development and PPAP submissions.
✅ Monitor project timelines and ensure on-time product launch.
✅ Support ECN/ECR implementation and engineering changes.
✅ Participate in customer meetings and technical discussions.
✅ Layout Inspection and Dimensional Validation
✅ Interpretation of Engineering Drawings & GD&T
✅ End-to-End PPAP preparation and customer submission
✅ Coordinate with Production, Tool Room, QA, Maintenance and Customers for successful project execution.
