**Position Overview**
We are seeking an experienced Android Developer with **3\+ years of hands\-on experience** in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high\-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise, problem\-solving abilities, and a passion for creating exceptional mobile experiences.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications using **Kotlin**. * Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices. * Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and project managers. * Integrate RESTful APIs and third\-party libraries/SDKs. * Debug, troubleshoot, and fix application issues and performance bottlenecks. * Optimize applications for better speed, scalability, and user experience. * Participate in code reviews and ensure coding standards are followed. * Work with modern Android development practices and Material Design guidelines. * Stay updated with the latest Android tools, technologies, and trends.
**Required Skills**
* **Strong proficiency in Kotlin (Mandatory).** * Good knowledge of Java. * Experience with Android Studio and Android SDK. * Strong understanding of **MVVM architecture** (MVC is a plus). * Experience integrating RESTful APIs. * Knowledge of Firebase services (Auth, Firestore, FCM, Analytics, etc.). * Experience with Git/GitHub version control. * Understanding of Material Design principles. * Familiarity with SQLite and Room Database. * Strong debugging and problem\-solving skills.
**Education**
* **Bachelor's Degree** in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. * Candidates with a strong academic background and relevant certifications will be preferred.
**Experience**
* Minimum **3\+ years** of professional Android application development experience. * Experience in publishing applications on the Google Play Store is an added advantage.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Knowledge of Jetpack Compose. * Experience with Dependency Injection (Hilt/Dagger). * Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. * Good communication and teamwork skills.
