About the Opportunity

Business VA Hub is recruiting on behalf of a UK-based founder developing a portfolio of AI-powered applications, digital products and creative technology projects.

We are looking for a highly skilled AI Product Developer who combines technical development expertise with creative thinking and practical experience using generative AI.

This is not a general Virtual Assistant position. We need someone who can understand a founder's vision, turn ideas into functional products and independently take ownership of technical projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. AI Application & Product Development

• Build and develop web applications and digital products using Lovable.
• Develop and improve application functionality and user experiences.
• Integrate AI models, APIs, databases and third-party services.
• Work with technologies such as React, Supabase and other relevant frameworks.
• Troubleshoot, test and maintain existing applications.
• Translate product concepts into functional solutions.

2. Generative AI & Creative Production

• Create AI-generated characters, environments and digital worlds.
• Produce AI-generated animations and short-form video content.
• Maintain character and visual consistency across multiple scenes.
• Work with AI image-generation, image-to-video and animation tools.
• Develop creative assets for product launches and brand storytelling.

3. Product Collaboration

• Work directly with the founder to understand product ideas and requirements.
• Identify opportunities, solve technical problems and suggest improvements.
• Manage projects independently and communicate progress.
• Help move digital products from concept to development and launch.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Demonstrable hands-on experience with Lovable.
• Strong understanding of web and application development.
• Frontend and backend development experience.
• Knowledge of APIs, databases and third-party integrations.
• Practical experience integrating AI models or AI-powered services.
• Experience creating AI-generated characters, images, animations or videos.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and creative judgement.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Technical Skills

Experience with some of the following:

• Lovable
• React and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Supabase and PostgreSQL
• REST APIs and AI integrations
• OpenAI or other LLM platforms
• AI voice and audio-generation tools
• Runway, Kling, Veo, Midjourney or comparable tools
• AI character consistency and animation workflows

You do not need to have used every tool listed. Practical experience and the ability to demonstrate your work are what matter most.

Working Arrangement

The engagement will initially begin at approximately 10 hours per week, with the possibility of increasing hours or transitioning to full-time as the projects develop.

We are looking for someone interested in a long-term professional relationship with opportunities to take on greater technical responsibilities.

Compensation & Offer Process

Compensation is negotiable and will depend on the candidate's demonstrated skills, relevant experience, portfolio and the requirements of the role.

Applicants will be asked to indicate their expected hourly rate during the application process.

The final compensation will be discussed following the client's final interview and selection of the preferred candidate, subject to mutual agreement.
