SENIOR BIOMEDICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

As part of the expansion of its export operations, Export Santé Service—a company specializing in the distribution, installation, maintenance, and after-sales service of new and certified reconditioned medical equipment—is seeking an experienced Biomedical Technician.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Export Agent, you will provide services to a client base including:
Public and private hospitals, specialized clinics, dental practices, medical offices, and healthcare professionals.
Your duties will include:
Installing and commissioning medical equipment; performing preventive and corrective maintenance; diagnosing malfunctions; conducting repairs (on-site or in the workshop); carrying out safety and compliance checks; training users; drafting service reports; and developing after-sales service (SAV) activities within your assigned territory.
Required Profile
Technical training in biomedical engineering, electrotechnology, electronics, or a related field. A minimum of 10 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of medical equipment is mandatory. Proficiency with hospital and dental equipment is required. You must possess a high degree of autonomy, strong organizational skills, and excellent client-facing interpersonal skills. A driver’s license is preferred.
Position Details
Based in South Africa (residence in Joahnnesburg is preferred). Frequent travel throughout the territory is required. You will work in close collaboration with the Export Agent responsible for the region.
Compensation
Attractive compensation based on commissions for services rendered:
Between 5% and 30% of the invoiced labor costs, depending on the nature, complexity, and profitability of the assignments. Opportunities for additional income through the development of after-sales service (SAV) activities. Potential for advancement into roles such as Regional Technical Manager.
