**Senior Cloud Manager**

We are seeking an experienced **Senior Cloud Manager** to lead our cloud operations and infrastructure strategy in London. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic technology leader to oversee the design, implementation, security, and optimization of enterprise cloud environments while supporting large\-scale digital transformation initiatives.

As a Senior Cloud Manager, you will lead a team of cloud engineers, DevOps professionals, and infrastructure specialists to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions. You will collaborate with business leaders, solution architects, cybersecurity teams, and external vendors to ensure cloud services align with organizational objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in cloud technologies, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven ability to manage enterprise cloud environments while driving operational excellence and continuous innovation.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Develop and execute the organization's cloud strategy, roadmap, and governance framework. * Lead the design, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure across Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). * Manage cloud engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure teams, fostering collaboration, innovation, and professional development. * Oversee cloud migration projects, application modernization, and hybrid cloud transformation initiatives. * Ensure cloud environments meet performance, scalability, availability, and business continuity requirements. * Establish cloud security standards, identity and access management controls, and compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements. * Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption using Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, AWS CloudFormation, or similar technologies. * Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and cloud\-native deployment processes. * Monitor cloud resource utilization, performance, and costs while implementing effective cloud cost optimization strategies. * Collaborate with cybersecurity, networking, and application teams to ensure secure and reliable cloud operations. * Manage relationships with cloud service providers, technology partners, and third\-party vendors. * Develop cloud policies, operational procedures, technical documentation, and architectural standards. * Mentor technical teams and provide strategic guidance on cloud technologies, emerging trends, and best practices. * Prepare operational reports, cloud performance metrics, risk assessments, and executive presentations for senior leadership.

**Requirements**

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. * Significant experience in cloud engineering, cloud operations, infrastructure management, or enterprise cloud leadership. * Proven experience leading technical teams responsible for cloud infrastructure and platform services. * Strong expertise with Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). * Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, AWS CloudFormation, or similar technologies. * Hands\-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, container orchestration, and cloud\-native application platforms. * Strong understanding of networking, identity and access management, cloud security, disaster recovery, and high\-availability architectures. * Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or similar platforms. * Knowledge of cloud monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or Splunk. * Strong understanding of IT governance, cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and regulatory compliance. * Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, project management, and problem\-solving skills. * Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Google Professional Cloud Architect, Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or ITIL Foundation are highly desirable. * Experience managing cloud budgets, vendor contracts, and service delivery within enterprise environments. * Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
