**Job Summary**
We are looking for an experienced **Data Engineer** with strong expertise in **Snowflake** and modern data engineering practices. The ideal candidate should have **5\+ years of total experience**, including **at least 3 years of hands\-on Snowflake experience**, along with strong SQL and Python skills.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design and optimize dimensional data models (Fact \& Dimension) for performance and scalability. * Develop and maintain ELT, batch, streaming, and near real\-time data pipelines. * Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries. * Build and manage data integration interfaces, APIs, and microservices. * Implement data quality checks, validation rules, and monitoring. * Use Git and CI/CD pipelines for deployment and version control. * Monitor production workloads, resolve incidents, and ensure SLA compliance. * Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and document data lineage.
**Mandatory Skills**
* **Minimum 5\+ years of overall Data Engineering experience.** * **Minimum 3\+ years of hands\-on Snowflake experience (Mandatory).** * Strong expertise in **Snowflake Data Warehouse**. * Advanced **SQL** and **Python** programming. * Data Warehousing \& Dimensional Modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Fact \& Dimension). * Experience with ELT/ETL pipeline development. * Git and CI/CD implementation. * Experience with APIs and data integration. * Knowledge of cloud platforms such as **Azure**, **AWS**, or **GCP**. * Azure SQL experience.
**Preferred Skills**
* dbt, Airflow, Dagster, or Fivetran. * Spark, Databricks, or Kafka. * Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift. * Great Expectations or Soda. * Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm. * Data Governance, RBAC, and Data Lineage.
