About the Company: We are a rapidly expanding, vertically integrated enterprise with active divisions spanning real estate development, commercial and residential construction, modular housing deployment, property management, and government contracting. We do not operate like a standard corporate bureaucracy; we move fast, we win high-level contracts, and we execute complex projects.
Because we manage everything in-house—from pulling permits and pouring concrete to structuring multi-million dollar capital stacks and federal RFPs—our hiring needs are aggressive, diverse, and relentless.
The Role: We are seeking a highly proactive, dominant Hiring Manager who can aggressively source, vet, and close top-tier talent across the absolute extreme ends of the professional spectrum.
We don't need a passive HR administrator who posts on Indeed and waits for resumes to roll in. We need a talent scout and a gatekeeper. On Monday, you might be at a local trade school recruiting a gritty, reliable tile setter or journeyman plumber. On Tuesday, you will be headhunting a heavy-hitting Chief Financial Officer or a Director of Capital Markets. You must be able to speak the language of the job site just as fluently as the language of the boardroom.
Core Responsibilities:
- Full-Spectrum Recruiting: Manage the entire hiring lifecycle for every tier of the organization. You will hire C-suite executives, federal grant writers, modular installers, finish carpenters, site superintendents, and property managers.
- Aggressive Sourcing: Execute outbound recruiting strategies. You will cold-call competitors, attend job fairs, build relationships with trade school professors, and scrape the internet to find the exact right fit. No "post and pray" mentalities allowed.
- Ruthless Vetting: Act as the ultimate gatekeeper. You will implement strict screening protocols (requesting project portfolios from tradesmen, conducting high-pressure interviews with sales executives) to ensure only highly qualified, hungry, and competent candidates make it to the executive team.
- Multi-Entity Strategy: Seamlessly pivot between the distinct cultures and requirements of our different divisions (e.g., finding tech-savvy property managers for our rental division, then switching to finding hard-nosed procurement specialists for our construction arm).
- Process Optimization: Overhaul and streamline our onboarding pipelines, utilizing modern tech stacks and project management software (like Monday.com) to track candidate flow and weekly hiring objectives.
The Ideal Candidate:
- You are a Hunter: You view recruiting as a sales job. You know how to track down passive candidates and sell them on our vision and growth trajectory.
- You are Adaptable: You are just as comfortable walking a dirty construction site to test a welder's knowledge as you are sitting in a conference room interviewing a corporate finance expert.
- You have High Standards: You have a low tolerance for fluff and excuses. You know how to strip away corporate jargon and test a candidate's actual ability to do the work.
- You are an Executor: You don't need to be micromanaged. You take the objective, build the strategy, and deliver the personnel.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of high-level recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR leadership experience.
- Direct experience hiring in construction, real estate development, or government contracting is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully placing both blue-collar skilled trades and white-collar executive leadership.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to manage complex applicant tracking systems and provide weekly data-driven hiring reports to the executive team.
Compensation: Highly competitive base salary + performance incentives. We reward execution.
