The Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer (5+ years experience) with a high-agency, founder-like mindset to join our engineering team. In this role, you will help build our RCM platform and accelerate care management delivery.
You will own features end-to-end across a single monorepo—from database models and backend APIs to polished frontend components. We value engineers who take full ownership, love shipping code, and prefer automating complex real-world workflows over reproducing manual, legacy systems.
Core Responsibilities
- Build & Automate RCM Tooling: Design and build revenue cycle management tools from scratch, automating complex billing, CPT code, and claim workflows.
- Expand Core Products: Develop and enhance internal staff workflow tools, care management platforms, and patient portals.
- End-to-End Delivery: Own product features across the full stack—from design and architectural schema definitions to production release.
- Model Real-World Data: Work with messy, complex clinical and patient data structures to provide clear, actionable signals to healthcare providers.
- Ensure Compliance: Handle Protected Health Information (PHI) with high standards of security, privacy, and HIPAA compliance.

Requirements & Qualifications
Must-Haves
- 5+ Years of Fullstack Experience: Proven track record of shipping production web applications at a senior level with clear, measurable outcomes.
- Startup & Product Ownership: Experience at early-stage startups with demonstrated end-to-end ownership of major features or systems.
- Frontend Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript (Vue 3 preferred, React experience welcome). •
Backend Tech Stack:
- Solid experience with Node.js, Express, and MongoDB / Mongoose.
- High Agency: Ability to navigate ambiguity, solve unstructured problems, and take product initiatives from 0 to 1 without needing a step-by-step playbook.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience at digital health companies (e.g., Candid Health, Flatiron Health, Abridge, Headway) with exposure to billing, EHR integration, or PHI handling. •
- Prior founder or co-founder experience. •
- Exposure to Python (Flask), AWS, or Terraform.
Profiles We Avoid
- Candidates whose experience is limited exclusively to large enterprises (1,000+ employees) without startup exposure.
- History of short, job-hopping tenures (<1 year per role).
