**Overview**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Launch Automation Engineer to lead the development and execution of automated testing strategies for mobile and web applications. **Responsibilities**
* Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks for mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms using tools such as Selenium, Appium, and TestNG. * Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, performance, system, regression, and user acceptance testing across diverse environments. * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams including developers, QA analysts, product managers, and DevOps engineers to define testing requirements aligned with business goals. * Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools to enable rapid feedback and continuous delivery. * Conduct root cause analysis on defects identified during testing phases to facilitate prompt resolution and improve overall software quality. * Perform data analysis using SQL (MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, PL/SQL) to validate backend processes and ensure data integrity. * Lead efforts in test case design, test planning, defect tracking, and reporting using tools such as Jira, HP ALM, or TFS to maintain high standards of quality assurance.
**Requirements**
* Proven experience in developing automation frameworks for mobile applications on Android and iOS using Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or similar tools. * Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript or C\#, with a solid understanding of scripting for automation purposes. * Extensive knowledge of testing methodologies including functional testing, system testing, performance testing (using LoadRunner or similar), load testing, and user acceptance testing. * Hands\-on experience with version control systems such as GitHub, GitLab or SVN; familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps is essential. * Proficiency in working with APIs (RESTful API \& SOAP), web services (XML/JSON), and database query languages (SQL/PLSQL) for comprehensive test coverage. * Deep understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Agile methodologies including Scrum and Waterfall models. * Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting issues through debugging techniques; ability to perform detailed root cause analysis efficiently. * Excellent communication skills to document test cases, create detailed reports on defects and testing outcomes clearly for technical teams.
