Job Summary
As a Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll design, secure, and maintain reliable network and IT infrastructure across data center, cloud, and enterprise environments. You’ll lead network engineering and administration work, resolve complex issues, and partner with IT and engineering teams to keep systems connected and available. Duties
- Design, configure, and support LAN, WAN, wireless, and data center networks, including routing, switching, Ethernet, IP networking, and network protocols.
- Manage network architecture, hardware, installation, monitoring, and troubleshooting; use tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, and Splunk to identify and resolve issues.
- Maintain firewalls, VPNs, Cisco ASA, Cisco ISE, Meraki, Juniper, and Cisco routers; support authentication, encryption, cloud security, vulnerability assessment, and network access controls.
- Support high availability, load balancing, QoS, VoIP, telecommunication, SAN, VMware, vSphere, AWS, and remote access services.
- Automate and document changes using Ansible and scripting; follow Agile, DevOps, SDLC, and ITIL practices while coordinating network support and system administration.
Requirements
- Strong computer networking, network engineering, system design, network configuration, network management, and engineering troubleshooting skills.
- Hands-on knowledge of routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP; TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, LDAP, Active Directory, SSO, PKI, IPsec, and MPLS.
- Experience with Linux distributions such as Debian, CentOS, openSUSE, and Ubuntu; UNIX, BSD, Solaris, Windows, and macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with SSH, SFTP, FTP, HTTPS, NFS, APIs, Java, SQL, Bash, shell scripting, Citrix, and SSL.
- Data center experience and communications systems expertise are preferred; a background in computer science, IT, system administration, or network hardware support is valuable. Apply equipment troubleshooting and technical troubleshooting support to complex network issues.
Pay: $92,000.00 - $112,000.00 per year
