Role: Senior Product Designer (cum Product Analyst) - (PAD)

Type: Full-time

This role mixes product analysis and product design in one person. The PAD doesn't just write requirements or draw screens — they own a problem from discovery all the way to measuring if it worked.

About our client

Our client builds a modular MarTech platform that helps companies unlock new revenue and scale. The team is growing fast across R&D and product, and people are expected to learn quickly, take ownership, and keep improving how the team builds things.

What problem does this role solve?

Most teams split "figuring out the problem" (analysis) from "making it look good" (design). This creates gaps: a design can look great but miss edge cases, or a requirement can be clear but hard to use. The PAD role closes that gap: one person follows the work from problem → evidence → requirement → flow → design → delivery → measurement → improvement.

What you'll do1. Find and understand problems first

  • Understand user, product, and business problems before jumping to a solution
  • Dig into product data, user behavior, stakeholder feedback, and existing flows
  • Turn messy, unclear problems into clear hypotheses and next steps
  • Ask the right questions to catch missing requirements, edge cases, and risks early

2. Write clear requirements

  • Turn problems into clear functional requirements, user stories, flows, and acceptance criteria
  • Define what should happen for every user state, permission, and failure case
  • Keep requirements clear enough that Engineering and QA can build and test with no guesswork
  • Work with PMs and stakeholders to refine scope and priority
  • Keep documentation in sync as the solution changes

3. Design the experience

  • Design full user flows for web and mobile
  • Turn requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs
  • Make complex product behavior feel simple and easy to understand
  • Cover every state: loading, empty, success, error, disabled, eligibility, permission, edge cases
  • Build and reuse Figma components, variants, and shared libraries
  • Follow the design system, and improve it when there's a better reusable pattern
  • Keep things consistent across products, brands, markets, and platforms

4. Measure and improve

  • Define success metrics before or during development
  • Use analytics and behavior data to see how features are actually performing
  • Check whether a shipped feature did what it was meant to do
  • Help define A/B tests, experiments, and measurement plans
  • Turn findings into clear next-step recommendations

5. Work closely with the team through delivery

  • Stay involved with Engineering and QA during build, not just at handoff
  • Adjust the solution when new technical info comes up, without losing the original goal
  • Review what shipped and flag any gap between requirement, design, and reality
  • Join design reviews, ticket reviews, and retros
  • Explain decisions and trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical people

What success looks like

A strong PAD doesn't stop at "the requirement is written" or "the design is done." They can walk through the whole chain and answer:

  • What problem are we solving, and who is affected?
  • What evidence do we have that it's really a problem?
  • What should the product do instead?
  • What are the important scenarios and edge cases?
  • Why is this the right solution?
  • How will we know if it worked?
  • What should we do next?

What we're looking forMust have

  • Degree in Design, HCI, Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related — or equal hands-on experience
  • Background in UIUX Design, Product Design, Product Analysis, Business Analysis, Product Management, or similar
  • Strong, hands-on Figma skills: components, Auto Layout, variants, prototyping, shared libraries
  • Can produce clear user flows, wireframes, UI designs, and interaction states
  • Can write clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and edge cases
  • Strong problem-solver — finds root causes, not just interface tweaks
  • User-first thinking — designs and requirements should be easy to follow
  • Comfortable using data to back up product decisions
  • Understands product metrics, funnels, user behavior, and experiment results
  • Solid grasp of UX principles, interaction design, and usability
  • Clear communicator, able to explain the "why" behind decisions
  • Works well with Product, Design, Engineering, QA, and business stakeholders
  • Good at managing time and owning work without being chased
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and changing requirements
  • Curious, and genuinely likes learning

Nice to have

  • Experience building or maintaining a design system on Figma
  • Hands-on with analytics tools like PostHog, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or GA4
  • Experience designing or evaluating A/B tests
  • Basic HTML/CSS and awareness of front-end constraints
  • Experience with multi-brand, multi-market, or configurable/platform products
  • Experience with dashboards, internal tools, Back Office, or CRM products
  • Experience using AI tools for analysis, documentation, research, prototyping, or design
  • Background in gaming, iGaming, FinTech, or other high-frequency transactional products
