We’re Hiring: Senior React Developer / Frontend Team Lead Experience: 6–10 Years Role: Senior React Developer + Team Lead Engagement: Part-time / Project-based, with potential for longer-term engagement Company: Evolved Human We’re looking for a senior frontend engineer who can do more than build React components. You should be capable of owning frontend architecture, guiding developers, reviewing implementation quality, breaking product requirements into engineering tasks, and working in close sync with the Project Manager to keep delivery predictable. What you’ll own: Frontend architecture and technical direction React + TypeScript implementation standards Component and feature architecture State and server-state design API integration strategy Authentication and authorization flows Performance, scalability and maintainability Code reviews and engineering quality Technical task breakdown and estimation Mentoring and guiding frontend developers Debugging complex production issues Coordinating dependencies with backend/API teams Working closely with the Project Manager on scope, priorities, risks and delivery Strong practical knowledge expected: React TypeScript React Hooks and Custom Hooks Component composition and reusable architecture Redux Toolkit / Zustand / Context TanStack Query or equivalent server-state architecture React Router REST APIs Authentication and protected application flows Forms and validation Performance optimization Testing and debugging Git workflows and code-review practices Modern frontend build and deployment workflows You should be able to answer questions such as: How would you structure a large React product used by multiple engineering teams? Which state belongs locally, globally, in the URL, or on the server? When should business logic move into a custom hook, service, state layer, or backend? How do you prevent a rapidly growing React application from becoming difficult to maintain? How would you review another developer’s architecture—not just their syntax? How would you work with a Project Manager when product requirements, engineering complexity and delivery timelines conflict? This is not a role for someone whose experience is limited to converting designs into React pages. We’re looking for someone who can think in: Product Requirements → Architecture → Components → State → APIs → Engineering Execution → Review → Deployment Leadership here means technical ownership, clear communication and helping the team make better engineering decisions.
