Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our innovative technology team. In this role, you will lead the development of scalable, high-performance software solutions that drive our core business operations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize complex systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, security, and efficiency. Duties
- Lead the design and development of robust software applications using programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, Ruby on Rails, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Architect scalable microservices and RESTful APIs to support web and application development initiatives.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical specifications and deliver innovative solutions.
- Implement best practices in system design patterns, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure), and DevOps processes including CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitHub, SVN, and Jenkins.
- Optimize existing systems for scalability, performance, and security by applying principles of system design for system development.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and promote adherence to Agile software development methodologies.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for APIs, system architecture, and development processes to ensure clarity and knowledge sharing across teams.
Skills
- Extensive experience in software engineering with proficiency in multiple programming languages including Java, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components such as Linux servers, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and network security protocols.
- Expertise in designing scalable systems using microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Deep knowledge of web development frameworks like React Express for front-end and back-end integration.
- Familiarity with database management systems such as MySQL and SQL Server; experience with version control systems like GitHub and SVN.
- Solid grasp of software design patterns, APIs integration, scalability principles, and security best practices including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control).
- Experience working within Agile environments employing Scrum or Kanban methodologies to deliver iterative improvements efficiently.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
