Vraify is hiring 15 Senior Software / Platform / Data Engineers for a fully remote 3-month contract.
Compensation
- USD $100/hour for eligible US candidates
- USD $70/hour for LATAM candidates
Schedule
Minimum 20 hours per week, including at least 4 hours of overlap with PST. Start immediately. This is a contractor assignment without medical benefits or paid leave.
About the role
Build an end-to-end telemetry pipeline that captures developer-agent traces, removes sensitive content centrally in Azure, and makes sanitized, queryable data available for review. You will own the work from endpoint capture and OpenTelemetry export through Azure ingestion, privacy scrubbing, sanitized storage, and a read-only trace viewer.
Responsibilities
- Set up endpoint capture, OTLP export, and OpenTelemetry collector pipelines.
- Build Azure ingestion and privacy-scrubbing workflows for secrets and PII.
- Create sanitized data stores and a read-only trace viewer with task, session, and trace correlation.
- Implement, test, and document the pipeline end to end.
Your profile
- 5+ years in software, platform, or data engineering delivering production systems.
- 3+ years of Azure experience or equivalent major-cloud experience that transfers to Azure PaaS.
- 2+ years of observability or telemetry pipelines with hands-on OpenTelemetry experience, including OTLP, collectors, traces, and semantic conventions.
- Experience with Azure Container Apps or AKS, API Management, ADX/Kusto or Application Insights, ADLS Gen2 or Blob Storage, Key Vault, and Entra ID.
- Strong Python or Node.js and Bash scripting skills.
- Practical experience with PII and secret detection/redaction, data-pipeline security, RBAC, private networking, and audit controls.
- LinkedIn and GitHub profiles are required.
