Job Context
We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven Regional Sales Consultant to join our team within the Cleaning Business Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and expanding our market presence within the assigned region.
The ideal candidate must have a strong sales background, excellent networking and negotiation skills, and a proven ability to secure new business and achieve sales targets within a competitive environment. Experience in the Cleaning, Facilities Management, or related services industry will be an advantage.
Minimum Requirements
National Senior Certificate / Grade 12.
Bachelor’s degree / Relevant tertiary qualification 5 Years related experience in a similar role
Previous Experience and Knowledge of dealing with Executive Management and Key Client Ability to speak and listen effectively
Ability to interpret customer needs
Be in apposition of a valid un-endorsed driver's license and own transport is essential
Must be self starter and team player
Good communication, Strong organizational and inter-personal skills Fully computer literate
Ability to work under pressure and independently
Committed and willing to make occasional personal sacrifices to meet deadlines Achievement of budgeted sales.
Design and presentation of highly professional bid documents.
Design and presentation of innovative, relevant and competitive solutions. Build and maintain Senior relationships both internally and with target clients.
Maintain a high level of market intelligence and knowledge of competitor activity
Duties & Responsibilities
Establish and maintain relationships with key influencers and decision-makers at various levels within businesses.
Secure new accounts and increase revenue contribution through new business development.
Develop appropriate client solutions and prepare professional proposals and supporting documentation.
Gather and analyse competitor information to strengthen Servest's competitive position in the market.
Contact and follow up with new and prospective customers to develop leads and convert opportunities into business.
Prepare and deliver well-structured, targeted presentations to internal and external customers.
Communicate, guide and execute corporate and divisional strategies in collaboration with the Sales and Operations teams.
Contribute to the development of comprehensive, realistic and adaptable sales forecasts.
Plan and conduct research within designated industries and sectors to develop in-depth, expert-level knowledge of target markets.
Build and maintain a database of target clients across each sector, including comprehensive profiles of each client, to support effective business development.
Plan and execute selling and marketing activities in line with budgets, sales volumes, revenue targets and timelines agreed upon by management.
Monitor and report on sales activities and performance, providing relevant management reports as required.
Conduct additional market research, competitor analysis and customer surveys as directed by management.
Plan and manage allocated business areas in accordance with agreed sales and market development strategies.
Build and maintain long-term professional relationships with other company divisions and departments to perform duties effectively and ensure optimal customer service and delivery
