We are hiringan Electrician to join our Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) Projects Team. This permanent full-time role will support the performance work as a part of the Graham Farmer Freeway Maintenance. This role will be on a day/night rotating basis with night-loading available. Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with WHS requirements
- Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety audits
- Review and implement Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and risk assessments
- Monitor work progress and report on productivity, delays, and issues to the Construction Manager
- Ensure quality control through inspections, testing, and verification of completed works
- Assist with planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Liaise with clients, inspectors, and stakeholders on-site as required
- Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, timesheets, and material usage
- Support commissioning, testing, and handover of ITS and electrical systems
- There will be a requirement to undertake Night Works as required, for periodic shutdown events every 2 months
About You:
- Support commissioning, testing, and handover of ITS and electrical systems
- Experience in electrical works, ITS or infrastructure projects
- Installation and maintenance of electrical and ITS assets, including traffic signals, CCTV, VMS and communications systems
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and specifications
- Sound knowledge of construction, safety and quality requirements
- Electrical Trade Qualification, current Electrical Licence, White Card and Driver’s Licence
- Traffic control and/or road authority tickets desirable
- Strong technical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Effective communication, teamwork and time management abilities
- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship and attention to detail
- Electrical Trade Qualification, Current Electrical Licence, Construction Industry White Card & Current Driver’s Licence
- High Risk Licence, EWP, Traffic control and/or road authority tickets desirable
