Experience: 5-8 years Industry: Healthcare / Veterinary Services
We are looking for a reliable Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting and compliance requirements of our pet hospital. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in bookkeeping, statutory compliances, and coordination with consultants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining books of accounts including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations
- Handling GST compliance – returns, reconciliations, and coordination with consultants
- Managing TDS compliances and filings
- Bank, cash, and vendor reconciliations
- Preparation of MIS reports and monthly financial statements for management
- Assisting in audits and responding to audit queries
- Payroll coordination and statutory deductions
- Maintaining proper documentation and records
- Budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cash-flow management
- Vendor management including review of contracts, payment scheduling, and reconciliation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting (B. Com preferred)
- Working knowledge of Tally / accounting software and MS Excel
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, and basic compliance
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Prior experience in healthcare / service industry will be an added advantage
