Job Purpose:
To drive aggressive export growth by identifying and acquiring new international apparel buyers across traditional (US, UK, EU) and emerging global markets, while securing profitable order volumes for an export-oriented garment factory.
Key Responsibilities
- New Buyer Acquisition: Actively market, pitch, and onboard new direct international brands, retailers, and buying houses in both established and untapped global markets.
- Account Growth & Retention: Lead buyer communications, commercial negotiations, and seasonal calendars to turn new accounts into long-term, high-volume partnerships.
- Product Development & Sampling: Coordinate with design, sampling, and merchandising teams for rapid, accurate sample execution and prompt buyer approvals.
- Costing & Margin Optimization: Prepare sharp, competitive FOB/CIF garment costings to win orders while protecting healthy EBITA margins.
- Order Execution & Delivery: Align with production, quality, and PPC teams to guarantee 100% on-time, in-full (OTIF) shipments.
- Compliance & Shipping: Ensure adherence to global social/environmental compliance standards (WRAP, SEDEX, OEKO-TEX, GOTS) and error-free export documentation.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and drive the merchandising/marketing team to hit aggressive export revenue targets.
Key Requirements
- Experience: 10–15 years in knitted garment export marketing with a proven track record of bringing in new global buyers.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong technical grasp of knitted apparel construction, print/wash techniques, fabric consumption, and garment costing.
- Core Skills: Powerful international sales pitching, commercial negotiation, and proficiency in apparel ERPs/MS Excel.
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion/Textiles or related field (MBA preferred).
- Travel: Willingness to travel overseas for buyer meetings and international trade fairs.

- Salary: Attractive CTC as per industry standards (No constraint for top performers).
