About the Role
Shoolin Consultancy is seeking a client-facing Microsoft Engagement Manager / Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant to lead enterprise data and analytics transformation opportunities across the ANZ region.
This role is ideal for professionals from a consulting services, systems integrator, or Microsoft partner background who have experience shaping and qualifying transformation programs, running executive workshops, and transitioning opportunities into global delivery teams operating through onshore/offshore delivery models.
You will collaborate closely with Microsoft stakeholders, enterprise customers, account executives, delivery leaders, and offshore teams to define transformation roadmaps, establish business cases, and build scalable delivery programs leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Synapse, Azure Data Services, and AI-ready data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead executive discovery workshops and stakeholder assessments
- Develop data and analytics transformation strategies
- Partner with customer executives, business sponsors, and technology leaders
- Shape opportunities from qualification through solution definition
- Facilitate architecture and roadmap discussions with Microsoft and customer stakeholders
- Present business cases, transformation roadmaps, and executive recommendations
- Support proposal development, RFP responses, and solution positioning
- Define delivery approaches leveraging Shoolin’s global delivery model
- Build programs that utilise onshore consulting and offshore delivery teams
- Establish governance, operating models, and delivery guardrails
- Lead estimation, planning, and solution transition activities
What We’re Looking For
Consulting & Industry Experience
- 10+ years in consulting, systems integration, or technology services organisations
- Experience with Microsoft Partner, Global Systems Integrator (GSI), or consulting services firm
- Proven success leading enterprise transformation engagements
- Strong customer-facing consulting experience
- Experience in bid, presales, and opportunity management processes
Delivery & Program Leadership
- Experience managing large-scale data, analytics, cloud, or digital transformation programs
- Strong understanding of global delivery and offshore factory-based delivery models
- Experience coordinating distributed delivery teams across multiple geographies
- Ability to balance customer outcomes, delivery risk, and commercial objectives
Microsoft Data & AI Experience
- Exposure to Azure Services, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Platform services
- Knowledge of enterprise data warehousing, data governance, and analytics modernisation
- Hands-on technical expertise is beneficial but not mandatory
Pay: $80,400.00 – $157,000.00 per year
