About a role.
Key responsibilities:
- Support delivery projects on implementation of product safety management process and application of IEC 61511
- Perform independent verification of product safety steps in accordance with Metso guidelines and international standards, such as IEC 61511/IEC 62061
- Provide regular training to project team members on the application of PSM process and related tools, templates, and procedures
- Execute internal audits and functional safety assessments
- Contribute to maintaining and continuous improvement of PSM process and procedures
Required qualifications:
- University degree in Automation, Process or Safety Engineering
- Functional Safety Management Expertise (TÜV Certificate or similar preferable)
- Knowledge of HAZARD analysis, Functional Safety, HAZOP and LOPA, ATEX study
- Competency in functional and process safety
- Knowledge of IEC 61511, IEC 62061/EN 13849
- Proven ability to lead complex technical discussions with stakeholders at all levels
- Project execution experience
- Good and proactive team working skills in an internationally operating matrix organization
- Strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
- Typical minimum relevant experience required: 5-8 years, recognized expert in own field
Must Have Skills:
