Job Description
SJEE Engineering Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a motivated and technically competent Electrical Engineer to join our project team for electrical and data centre projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating electrical engineering works, monitoring site progress, ensuring installation quality, and supporting project execution in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, safety requirements, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise electrical installation works at project sites.
- Review electrical drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation.
- Monitor project progress, workmanship, quality, and compliance with approved designs.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other trades.
- Monitor electrical systems installation, including LV/MV switchgear, transformers, UPS, generators, busduct, cable trays, and related equipment, according to project scope.
- Assist in resolving technical issues and coordinating site inspections.
- Support testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and project handover activities.
- Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and other project documentation.

- Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Relevant experience in electrical engineering, construction, or M&E projects.
- Experience in data centre or mission-critical projects will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of electrical installation, power distribution systems, and engineering drawings.
- Familiar with LV/MV systems, transformers, UPS, generators, cable containment, and testing and commissioning.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering documentation.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
- Willing to travel and work at project sites as required.
