Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and dynamic Tuition Centre Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the delivery of exceptional educational services. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining administrative functions, and fostering a positive environment for both students and staff. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills to contribute to the growth and success of our tuition centre.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage the centre’s staff, including tutors and administrative personnel, ensuring high standards of performance and professionalism.
  • Oversee daily centre operations, including scheduling classes, managing enrolments, and maintaining student records.
  • Utilise QuickBooks for financial management, invoicing, and budgeting purposes.
  • Handle human resources tasks such as recruitment, staff training, performance appraisals, and addressing employee concerns.
  • Maintain effective communication with students, parents, staff, and external partners through phone calls, emails, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Ensure the centre complies with all relevant policies, health & safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Organise administrative tasks including clerical duties, record keeping, report generation, and inventory management.
  • Foster a welcoming environment by demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and organisational skills.
  • Assist in marketing initiatives to promote the centre’s programmes and services.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a teacher (essential)
  • Experience in training, mentoring, or managing staff is highly desirable
  • Proven experience in team management or supervisory roles within an office or educational setting.
  • Strong administrative background with experience in clerical or office administration.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
  • Previous experience in human resources management is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £13.00-£25.00 per hour
