Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and result\-oriented Production Manager to lead and oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for production planning, manpower management, vendor coordination, process optimization, and ensuring on\-time delivery of products while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage day\-to\-day production activities to achieve production targets. * Prepare and execute production plans as per the MRP schedule. * Ensure timely completion of production orders and adherence to delivery commitments. * Supervise and manage production manpower, allocating resources efficiently. * Coordinate with vendors to ensure the timely availability of raw materials and outsourced components. * Visit vendor sites for stage inspections whenever required. * Resolve production\-related issues, machine operator concerns, and technical drawing queries. * Monitor production performance and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce downtime. * Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies. * Coordinate with the Purchase, Quality, Maintenance, and Stores departments for smooth production flow. * Analyze production reports, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions. * Train, mentor, and evaluate production team members to improve overall performance. * Perform additional responsibilities assigned by management based on business requirements.
Required Skills
* Strong knowledge of production planning and manufacturing processes. * Excellent understanding of 2D engineering drawings and measuring instruments. * Hands\-on experience with CNC/VMC machining operations. * Strong leadership, team management, and decision\-making skills. * Excellent problem\-solving and analytical abilities. * Effective communication and coordination skills. * Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/MRP systems is preferred.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. * Minimum 7 years of experience in production, including experience in a supervisory or managerial role. * Proven ability to lead production teams in a manufacturing environment.
