Responsibilities:

Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models adhering to established methodologies (e.g., Kimball dimensional modeling, Data Mesh).

Define, specify, and document data transformation logic, lineage, and integration rules between source systems and analytical targets.

Propose, evaluate, and document data modeling and integration solutions aligned with enterprise data strategy and functional business needs.

Collaborate closely with business analysts, source-system SMEs, data engineers, platform architects, and product owners across all delivery stages.

Ensure data models incorporate performance optimization, scalability, governance, and cloud cost-efficiency from inception.

Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, metadata standards, and data dictionary assets.

Communicate architectural concepts, data flows, and modeling trade-offs effectively to both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Skills:
-
2+ years of professional experience in data modeling, with hands-on focus on dimensional modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Kimball methodology).

Proficient SQL skills for complex data querying, validation, transformation logic design, and performance profiling.

Practical knowledge of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT pipelines, and modern cloud analytical data architectures (e.g., Data Mesh, Data Lakehouse).

Demonstrated ability to create clear conceptual, logical, and physical ER diagrams and comprehensive mapping documentation.

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to bridge business requirements with underlying source-system schemas.

Fluency in Polish and English (
Nice to have:

Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse).

Familiarity with data modeling and metadata management tools (e.g., Erwin, PowerDesigner, ER/Studio, dbt).

Experience with CI/CD practices and version control (Git) applied to database schemas and transformation logic.
