As a Translator, you will be the bridge between our brand and our customers, turning complex product details and marketing campaigns into engaging, culturally resonant content in both Arabic and English. In this role, you will craft accurate, high-quality translations that preserve brand voice, optimize for product discoverability (SEO), and reflect local market nuances. Working closely with Cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment, you will play a key role in delivering flawless localized content that drives customer trust and elevates the shopping experience.
🛠 What You’ll Get Your Hands On:
- Translate and localize product titles, descriptions, attributes, marketing content, and other customer-facing content between Arabic and English while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and brand tone.
- Ensure all translated content is culturally relevant, linguistically accurate, and aligned with local market expectations.
- Maintain consistency in terminology by following approved glossaries, style guides, and localization standards.
- Review and proofread translated content to ensure correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting before publication.
- Collaborate with Content, Commercial, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure timely delivery of localized content for campaigns, launches, and promotions.
- Optimize translated content for customer readability, searchability (SEO), and product discoverability.
- Identify translation inconsistencies, terminology gaps, and localization issues, recommending improvements to enhance content quality.
- Support the development and maintenance of translation memories, glossaries, and localization guidelines.
- Ensure all translation tasks are completed within agreed SLAs while maintaining high quality standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance translation workflows, tools, and processes.
🧙♂️ The Magic You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, Arabic Language, English Language, Communications, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in translation, localization, or content management, preferably within e-commerce or retail.
- Native Arabic speaker with excellent proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Strong understanding of localization principles, cultural adaptation, and Arabic language conventions.
- Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS), translation tools (CAT tools), or localization platforms is an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong proofreading and editing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
