Social Media Manager — Empowered Preparatory School
Empowered Preparatory School, a private school for elite student athletes, is seeking a Social Media Manager to grow our presence on Facebook and Instagram. This role will focus on daily content creation, including photos, videos, and reels that showcase our students, academics, and hockey programs across our Florida campuses.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and publish daily posts across Facebook and Instagram
- Shoot and edit short-form video content and reels highlighting student-athletes, campus life, and events
- Maintain a consistent posting calendar and brand voice
- Engage with followers, parents, and prospective families through comments and messages
- Track engagement metrics and adjust content strategy accordingly
- Coordinate with coaches, teachers, and administration to capture timely content (games, practices, classroom moments, events)
Qualifications:
- Experience managing Facebook and Instagram for a business, school, or organization
- Strong video editing and content creation skills (reels, short-form video)
- Excellent written communication and creative eye
- Comfortable working around student-athletes and school environments
- Familiarity with youth sports or private school culture a plus
Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
